Developmentally Disabled and Mentally Ill
- Does not result in more than minimal harm to residents, and
- Does not have the potential for more than minimal harm to residents, and
- Does not indicate a breakdown in a facility system, and
- Does not indicate a lack of administrative capability.
A license issued to a facility which has not previously been licensed pursuant to this act or to former Act No. 287 of the Public Acts of 1972.
A license issued to an adult foster care facility which is in compliance with this act and the rules promulgated under this act.
A license issued to a facility that has previously been licensed under this act or an act repealed by this act but is temporarily unable to conform to the requirements of a regular license prescribed in this act or rules promulgated under this act.
Home for the Aged - Licensed is a licensed health facility that provides room, meals and supervised personal care to invididuals 55 years and older. The facility must maintain compliance with applicable state licensing laws and administrative rules. Allegations of law or rule violations can be investigated.
Home for the Aged - Exempted is a facility where room, meals, and supervised personal care to individuals 55 years and older by several distinct entities and the facility has been exempted from licensure pursuant to MCL 333.21311a. The facility is not required to comply with state licensing laws or administrative rules. Complaint investigations would be limited to situations identified in MCL 333.21311a(7)
